Do I need to find students through MyTutoringHome?

No. This is built for tutors who already have their own students — it is not a marketplace, and we never put your students in front of another tutor.

Can students book lessons themselves?

Yes — with the tutor who invited them, and only inside the availability windows you set. Slots you have already booked are not offered, and bookings close an hour before the start time.

Can students pay online?

Yes, through your own Stripe account. The money goes to you directly — we never hold it.

Can I sell lesson packages?

Yes. Students can buy a single lesson or a block of lessons upfront, then book them whenever suits.

What does it cost my students?

Exactly your lesson price — nothing is added to it, and nothing of ours is taken out of it. The only deduction is the payment-processing cost, and that comes off your side, never theirs.

Does it work with Google Meet or Zoom?

You paste your own Meet, Zoom or Teams link onto the lesson and your student gets a join button in their portal. There is no calendar or video integration yet — Google Calendar sync and Zoom are on the roadmap.

Which languages is MyTutoringHome available in?

This site is in English, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese and Dutch. The tutor app and the student portal are in English for now, and our legal documents are published in English only.
