Fee Schedule
What each plan costs, what it includes, and the notice and free exit you get before anything changes.
Version 1 September 2026
What we charge
| Plan | Price | Students |
|---|---|---|
| Free | Free, forever | Up to 3 active students |
| Tutor Pro | €13.99 per month, VAT included | Unlimited students |
Every feature is in both plans. What you pay for is scale, not features: lessons, payments, the student portal, your landing page, reminders and recurring lessons are all in the Free plan, without limit.
Archived students do not count. Only active students do, so archiving someone you have stopped teaching always makes room, costs nothing and deletes nothing.
Nothing comes out of your student's payment
We take no cut of any lesson payment, on either plan. No commission, no per-lesson fee, no booking fee. Your student pays your lesson price, it goes to your own Stripe account, and the only amount deducted is Stripe's own processing cost.
That is true whether you are paying us €13.99 a month or nothing at all. Our price buys the software; it is not a share of your work.
We also charge nothing on lessons you arrange or are paid for outside the Service. Cash, bank transfer, a private arrangement — none of it is our business.
Tutor Pro
- €13.99 a month, including VAT. €13.99 is what your card is charged. We do not add tax on top.
- Charged in euros, monthly, on our own Stripe account. We never take it from your students' money.
- Cancel any time, from the app. You keep Tutor Pro until the end of the month you have paid for. Nothing is charged after that.
- If you give us a valid VAT number from an EU country other than the Netherlands, VAT is reverse-charged and you pay less.
If you are an individual rather than a business, you have 14 days to change your mind and get your money back, under Dutch consumer law. Just email us.
What happens if you stop paying
If you cancel, or your card stops working, your account goes back to the Free plan when the paid period ends.
Nothing of yours is deleted, hidden or locked away. Ever.
| While you have more than 3 active students | Always works |
|---|---|
| Adding a student | Reading, editing and archiving every student you have |
| Bringing an archived student back | Every lesson already on your calendar |
| Scheduling a new lesson | Students paying you, and buying lesson credits |
| A student booking a lesson they have already paid for | |
| Messages, notes, your landing page, exports, closing your account |
Two ways back, both one click: archive down to 3 students, or subscribe again. We would rather you archived — it is free.
What Stripe costs you
Stripe's cost is Stripe's, not ours, and it comes off your side of every payment. A rough guide for a Netherlands account:
| Payment method | Approximate cost to you |
|---|---|
| iDEAL | Wero | €0.29 |
| Card / Apple Pay / Google Pay | 1.5% + €0.25 |
| Bancontact | €0.35 |
| EPS | 1.6% + €0.25 |
| Klarna | 2.99% + €0.35 |
These are estimates, not quotes. Stripe sets these prices and can change them, your rates follow your account's country rather than ours, and a card's rate is decided when the payment is authorised — so a premium, business or non-European card costs more than the figure above.
You never have to rely on the estimate. What Stripe actually took is recorded on every payment and shown on your earnings page, so what you keep is a number you can check against your Stripe payouts. Your Stripe dashboard is the final word.
How this can change
We can change our prices — a business that cannot change its prices eventually cannot operate. What we will not do is change them behind you. Section 8 of the Terms is the binding version:
- at least 30 days' notice by email before any increase, and it starts on the 1st of a month;
- never backdated — nothing you have already paid is re-charged;
- you can leave free of charge before it takes effect, and take your data with you;
- a new plan does not move you onto it. You stay on your plan until you choose to move.
