For tutors

Sub-processors

Every third party that touches data on our behalf, where they are, and what they do.

Version 26 August 2026

These are the third parties that process personal data on our behalf to run MyTutoringHome. Each is bound by a data processing agreement, may act only on our instructions, and may not use the data for its own purposes.

This page is Annex III of the Data Processing Agreement. Section 6 of that agreement governs how it changes: 30 days' notice before we add or replace anyone, and a right to object.

Independent controllers

These are not sub-processors. They decide their own purposes and are responsible to you directly under their own terms and privacy policies.

Tutor landing pages

A tutor may publish a page about themselves at /tutor/their-name. Two things follow from that, and neither adds a third party:

  • What the tutor writes is published because they chose to publish it. Their name, photo and description are public the moment they switch the page on, and private again the moment they switch it off. Nothing is shown before they publish.
  • Enquiries sent through that page belong to the tutor. We forward the message to the address on their account and keep no copy. The tutor is the controller of it, exactly as they are for their students — see the Data Processing Agreement.

What is deliberately absent

  • No advertising or marketing-automation platforms. No ad network, no data broker, no retargeting pixel — on any page.
  • No third-party scripts on authenticated pages. Analytics exists on the marketing site only.
  • No externally hosted fonts. Typefaces are served from our own domain, so no request reaches Google Fonts.
  • No AI or machine-learning vendor. No tutor or student data is sent to a model provider, for inference or for training.
  • No customer-support, session-replay or heatmap tool with access to your data. Support runs over email.

Notifications
